Pre-Kindergarten PM
Monday/Wednesday/Friday PM Pre-Kindergarten Class-
This class is for children who are 4 by September 1st, and fully potty trained. Like the 4’s class, this class will be a kindergarten preparatory class. The extra day enables the children to go deeper into learning. Students in this class will learn literacy skills, math concepts, problem solving and independent thinking skills, hands on learning stations, with fine and gross motor skills. This class is designed to prepare your child for an easy transition into kindergarten.
Meet The Teachers:
Lead Teacher- Torrie Wittchow
Hi, I’m Torrie and I am the Lead Teacher in the 4’s PM and the PM Preschool classrooms! I have been married to my wonderful husband for nineteen years. In addition to working at The Preschool at Christian Faith Center, we are the Kids Pastors at the CFC Boise Campus. We are passionate about kids and love to see them grow emotionally, academically, socially, and spiritually! At home we have one son, three fur babies, and a horse named Tilly. For fun I enjoy riding, traveling, and being outdoors!
Before getting hired at The Preschool at Christian Faith Center, I worked for Vallivue School District for ten years as a Title One teacher in the elementary schools. The 2021/2022 school year was my first-time teaching preschool and I have loved every minute! It has challenged me, grown me, and I’ve discovered a fresh passion for education. I absolutely love teaching and truly believe God has called into this position and has instilled a sweet love for children.
Assistant Teacher- Robin Lynn Zabala
Professionally I have been a nurse, caregiver, Healthcare consultant, business owner, foster mom, and an emergency respite mom for kids in the foster system.
Personally, I am involved in various ministries at Christian Faith Center as a mentor and have raised my three grandkids (oldest is twenty-one) as a single woman. I am known as “Yaya” to all the children I have been blessed to care for. I love-love-love all the kiddos and I am so privileged, and excited, to be able to help care, nurture & teach in the coming years! ❤️
